This is a really neat visual on how recruiters scan over applicant resumes... in 6 seconds!  The study also  "found that, using a Likert-like scale** ranking of 1 to 7, recruiters gave professionally re-written resumes an average rating of 6.2 for “usability.” This was a 60% improvement compared with a 3.9 rating before the re-write. This finding supports participating recruiters’ comments that the re-written resumes were 'easier to read.'"
 
 
The Labor Department released its latest numbers on initial unemployment claims, and it's looking good!  Reuters also reports the "four-week moving average for new claims, a more reliable measure of labor market trends, declined 4,250 to 361,750."
