RITA FRIEDMAN is a coach, speaker, and consultant focused on helping jobseekers strategically navigate career transitions. She works with clients on achieving their individual definitions of success, identifying and creating opportunities, and managing messy situations. She also facilitates workshops and presentations for employers and organizations committed to engaging and developing their talent. 

Rita has a background in recruiting, human resources, staff development, operational management, and professional writing.  Rita received recognition as the Winner of the Career Services category (2020, 2019, 2018) and Winner of the Coaching Services category (2016) by Philly Happening List. PhillyCareerCoach.com was also named one of the Best Career Resources for Grads and PhDs by OnlinePhDProgram.org.  Rita previously wrote a career advice column for Philly.com, is frequently quoted in employment-related articles in national newspapers and magazines, and has appeared on television as a career expert.

She earned a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Albany, and is a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach, Certified Job and Career Development Coach, Certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner, and Certified Life Coach.
