If you're prepping for an interview, you're probably spending some time in advance researching the employer, practicing answering difficult questions, and choosing what to wear. But when you're down to the last 10-15 minutes before you shake hands with the prospective interviewer, you should be doing some of the things I discussed with Business Insider in this article.

In November 2013, I participated in the Career Thought Leaders Brainstorming Day discussing current and future trends in the hiring market. While I was meeting with some of my colleagues in Philadelphia, other career professionals were attending 14 other events across the US, Canada, Russia, Australia, Italy, and the UK, as well as online.
The CTL has just released its white paper that includes details on our findings and predictions related to the present state and future of job searching. It's so interesting to see what career professionals are saying about the increasingly diverse workplace, personal branding, handling applicant tracking systems, and other hot topics.
