![]() I've been eagerly anticipating getting to hang out and talk career with one of my favorite employment experts, Kenneth L. Johnson, on his Career Seekers Show airing live today from 4-5pm Eastern on 106.5 WPPM Philadelphia or streaming at https://phillycam.org/radio/listen. You can also tune in later here. Kenneth is a top diversity recruiter and executive search professional, President of East Coast Executives, a frequent contributor to national media pieces, and an in-demand public speaker and trainer, but don't let that scare you off - he's also one of the most down-to-earth and accessible resources in the field.

This is a topic I'm really passionate about, and I feel we need to spend more time thinking critically about our career path in more holistic terms. So far, there's no magic career aptitude test that can tell you what you should be doing with your life, and so it can take a lot of work to find and re-find the answer (which can also change over time). ![]() I had a great time discussing why taking an unpaid internship might be a bad idea on The CW's Morning Dose with Laila Muhammad the other day! The study that sparked this conversation came from Angus Holford at the University of Essex. |
