HR & Technology Writer Lynne Goldman recently wrote about some of the reasons tech hiring managers ought to be considering older candidates in her article "Tech Companies: Here’s Why You Should Hire a 59-Year-Old" for Dice Insights, and I was so happy to weigh in. It's a topic that often gets lip service, (if not immediately dismissed) but with an aging workforce and a field that continues to grow, it's time to start overcoming outdated notions of who is capable of adopting and mastering new technology (as well as preconceptions about salary expectations).
