Changing HR Laws & The 2015 Philadelphia SHRM Symposium

I had the pleasure of speaking with local attorney Heather Herrington for a new Philly.com piece about some recent changes to human resource laws that employees and employers need to know.   Heather discussed rulings by the National Labor Relations Board related to how employers can treat employees' email accounts and social media postings, and what these new decisions may mean for workers.  Herrington, who is VP of Legal and a  member of the Philly Society for Human Resource Management Executive Committee, will be presenting "Hot Topics for Employers" at the 2015 SHRM Symposium being held on April 1 & 2.  This will be a great opportunity to get up-to-the-minute information on HR matters, as well as a chance to network with all of the area’s top business leaders and HR execs.  I'm also especially looking forward to attending the keynote with Erik Wahl, who will be speaking about encouraging creativity within organizations.
