Habits of Successful People

I was pleased to be asked to share some thoughts with Investopedia and be quoted in Rajeev Dhir’s article “10 Habits of Successful People and How You Can Boost Your Bottom Line.” These questions - around what defines success and how a person sets themself up to achieve it - are central to my work. I love thinking about how people interpret and think about these questions, how so many differing approaches and answers can all be right at the same time, or right at different times for different people and differing circumstances. Success is often complicated - the act of thinking about it can lead to more questions, conflicting ideas, things that seem right in the abstract but inapplicable in the moment… Is success achievement or a journey? How do you know you are on the right path? How much doubt is healthy? Does it matter what others have done?
